Therma-Stak Heat Reclaimer

The Therma-Stak heat reclaimer is ideally suited for installation on hot water boilers, steam boilers and process exhaust stacks where the temperature is above 175 deg. C, but does not exceed 480 deg. C, where boilers are fired on gas or light oil and where burner inputs range from 140,000 bthus/hr. up to 4,800,000 bthus/hr.

The Therma-Stak is inserted in the flue of the boiler or exhaust stack and cold water is pumped at a controlled speed through the Therma-Stak heat exchanger, absorbs a percentage of the flue gas heat and emerges as hot water. This hot water is then returned to the system, thereby saving heat which would otherwise have been lost to atmosphere.

The pay-back period can be as little as one year.
